First things first, the camera. In recent years digital photography has become increasingly popular, as photographers believe it gives a much clearer image and digital cameras are so simple to use. Film cameras are however still widely used, vintage film cameras are becoming ever more fashionable and Polaroid cameras are being dug out and refurbished. Choose whichever suits you and your needs.
Next you need your subject. If you’re interested in shooting landscape find a nice quiet area that isn’t populated by walkers or tourists where you can have a play around with your camera undisturbed. If using a digital, get to grips with the different features.
If you have an event coming up in Scotland; a wedding, party or celebration, make sure the photos taken are memorable. We recommend Jonathon Fowler Photography and Videography to capture your event so that you can look back on the moment through high quality images and videos with your friends and family.
The amazing thing about digital photography is that you have the image immediately, if it’s not quite right you can shoot it again until it’s picture perfect! Always remember to have back ups of your pictures on a computer or cloud system, there’s nothing worse than loosing an SD card that’s full of family snaps.
